From early on, we were trusted to contribute to real creative work, developing transferable skills in areas such as events management, curation, and professional practice, while collaborating with a wide range of artists, organisations, and communities. In a sector where opportunities can often feel limited, being welcomed into such supportive and generous creative networks has been hugely influential. The experience has helped us build meaningful connections and has given us a strong foundation as we begin navigating our own paths within the arts across Gateshead, Newcastle, and the wider North East.
